ZSIC Ltd. is an Investment Company which is
wholly owned by the government of the Republic
of Zambia and incorporated under the Companies
Act, Chapter 388 of the Laws of Zambia. As an in-
vestment company, it offers a diversified range of ser-
vices, which include fund and asset management, in-
vestment advice, and corporate and project financing.
The company has two wholly owned subsidiaries in
the insurance industry: ZSIC Life Limited and ZSIC
General Insurance Limited. ZSIC General Insurance
Limited is responsible for short term insurance, cover-
ing properties and personal accident insurance. ZSIC
Life Limited is responsible for long-term life assurance
products and group life and pension schemes.
The ZSIC Group of Companies and its previous form
has been a proud participant in the Zambian insur-
ance industry for the past 44 years. Its continued ex-
istence and effective participation in a highly competi-
tive and ever-evolving market place is indeed a mark
