History

SOGESTER (Sociedade Gestora de Terminais, S.A.) is a mixed investment company based in Angola.  It is the result a partnership between APM Terminals  and Gestão de Fundos* (*An Angolan based Pension Fund Company) In 2003, SOGESTER 

has won the tender to manage and operate the  Port of Luanda  container terminal  After a three-month transition period, on November 5th 2007, SOGESTER took over the control of the terminal  operations and management.
